Pointillism meets haunting melodies in this music video shot entirely on a Microsoft Kinect

I’ve always thought of Microsoft Kinect as cool toy that never reached its full potential. It seems Sissi Rada — a Berlin-based electronica duo — saw it differently. The act recently used the depth-sensing Kinect 2 to shoot the music video for ‘Sunday’ in a sort of pointillist, machine-view perspective, much in the same way the Google Car sees the world. The rich visuals were then layered on top of a haunting track that melodically massages the viewer from one transition to the next.
