Facebook is about to make life harder for video pirates. Following video’s explosive growth on the platform, the company is introducing measures to prevent content from being uploaded to the network without permission. Facebook is building new video matching technology that will allow creators to know when duplicates of their videos are being shared on the platform. When a positive match is identified, publishers can them choose to remove the content.
